What is proper attire?
Proper attire at The Redhead simply means "business casual." We do not allow athletic wear such as tennis shoes, gym shoes, walking shoes, athletic hiking boots, beach sandals, flip-flops, open-toed sandals on men, T-shirts, jerseys or sweatshirts. Collared shirts tucked in would be fine. Jeans are okay as long as they are not ripped, frayed or torn.
Do you take reservations?
No, we do not take reservations because we do not serve food. However please feel free to see a host or hostess if you need assistance in finding a table for your party. They will get you a table as soon as they are able.
Is there a cover charge?
The Redhead never has a cover charge. During the late fall, winter, and early spring seasons we do have a required coatcheck for a nominal fee.
Since Illinois does not allow smoking and drinking in the same place (inside or outside), how does The Redhead accomodate smokers?
The Redhead has a covered, seated, comfortable (and during the winter...heated!) smoke area. Come smoke with us!
Can you accommodate larger parties of 5-15 people?
Yes we can accommodate larger parties; however our seating area for these parties is limited, so arriving early is recommended. Again, you can see a host or hostess when you arrive and they will do their best to accommodate your party.
Do you have valet parking?
Yes we have valet parking Wednesdays through Saturdays. There is also limited street parking in the area as well as a parking garage across Ontario Street.
Do you offer Karaoke?
NO.
Do you accept trade script and which kind?
Yes we accept trade scipt from Art of Barter, Continental Trade Exchange (also known as IMS) and Illinois Trade Association (also IMS).
